Three incredible works that exemplify the glorious range of the French Horn!

A TEMPERED HERO is a musical journey, depicting the formation of a heroic personality. Approximately nine minutes in length, it is a challenging, lyrical work for the horn, showcasing both its low range and its breadth of dynamics and color.

Lea DeLinkley's THEME & VARIATIONS is a clever play on a three-note motif. A simply stated theme, followed by variations in six distinct musical styles, this is a joke that the audience can be let in on... or not! Ideal for recitals, especially as it's not overly taxing for the hornist. 

RUNNING to SAFETY was written for Jennifer Dugle Kummer, currently Nashville's top studio horn player. A taut, exciting work that is continually surging forward, it is approximately ten minutes in length.
