Premiered by St. Louis Symphony former Principal Piccolo Jan Gippo, the SUITE for Piccolo & Piano is a stellar work featuring that loftiest of orchestral instruments, the piccolo. Showcasing not only its moxie and exuberant brazenness, the Suite also explores its oft-neglected though lyrical low range. Three movements, approximately sixteen minutes in length.
PASSAGE has been a favorite among piccolo players for nearly three decades. Approximately six minutes, it was a finalist in the National Flute Association's newly published music competition, and has since been recorded over a dozen times.
